CMIG

CMIG stand for (Comision de Modernizacion e innovacion gubernamental) Goverment comission for modernization and innovation. It basically represents the office that regulates the government offices for IT investment and strategy.

CMIG is a relatevely new governor sponsor project that has the mision of providing homogeneous, coordination and some sense of direction to government IT strategy. They concentrate resources for important projects that have the vision of protecting investments and saving cost while upgrading productivity.

CMIG also is the house for state government website, which by all means, looks more eye candy than many other world government websites. The site e-Tabasco is the most visible project for the State residents.

With CMIG I am on the quest of pushing interesting projects that will affect the way government operates. Including a more visible view of Free Software and higher level of E-Government.
